meh...
A softer kick would of been nice... a break beat perhaps?
And what were you doing with the tempo? Everything seems out of place

It was ok, although... if you didnt make the meldy, what did you make?
I must admit that the beat doesn't go much... at all. A 4/4 would be a lot more suited, and it would ruin the soft atmosphere. The beat makes it sound cheap =/
it's a cover of the song by Grizzly Bear
the time signature is 4/4 just to let u know, and ur right about the drums too, i also find it too repetitive but without vocals i find it challenging to make the orignial song into a listenable electronic song :)
ill keep practising
thank you for the helpful review
I got one for ya
z3ta+... google it =D or youtube it
Hey thanks, but that's a synthesizer!
Cool beans
If you kept the first bit running and built it up with a >Sidechained< kick then i think you may have something =D
It certainly provided a great atmosphere... kudos for that
Damn, I've hit the jackpot! :D You reviewed 7 and so did the other two. :D
Anyway, Thanks for the review on my first track. That shows that people do have a small interest in my music from my newer uploads if you've reviewed the first track I produced in 2008. :D Thanks for taking the time man, much appreciated. :3
Ah the days...
This brings back memories... where is the remix pack? =O
Good effort =D
Although you should of sidechained a kick and maybe slowed it down a notch... not too much, the combination of kick and snare or clap at the same time gave it a slightly corny feel too... If your going to redo this then put more time into and have a build up and slow down =D apart from that... well done!
I had no Idea what I was aiming for while making this song... maybe some speed happy hardcore... the bad part is that I don't have any hardcore samples.... still getting them. This was just because I downloaded the remix pack of the song. I wanted to learn how to play it on piano so I imported it to FL Studio & this magically happened. :)
Yup
Im with billy burf... use a different kick and sidechain it! Then you will have an awesome track on the blow =D
Oh no you di'ant
I absolutly loved 0:27! That was slick, but you completely ruined it =O
I was actually shocked at what you had done, you put a corny open HH when a closed would have been much better... and the snare? That was way too OTT go for a fat small one (Lol we all like chubby chasing ;D)
I order you to re-work this... it has potential as a great psy-trance track!
Please dont leave it like this :P
Sort that out and you get my 5 and 10 =D
Alrightyy :D, thanks for the feedback. I'll redo when i get a chance. Haha yeah i just used the default drums for this one didn't bother with anything special, ill put a lot more thought into it in v2, thanks! Also i'm not sure if thats a snare you are hearing, or a clap, might explain why it sounded odd lol.
Wow!
I was thinking for the first 3 seconds... i cant believe how bad this is!
But then =O It stuck on me! Its amazing... Can you send me the synthline? =D Ill make a loop remix ;D
terribly sorry for my previous response.
that came off totally the wrong way.
though it was like 8 years ago LOL
if you still want the synthline, i can dig it up for you.
message me on here if you do.
It was ok
That... is definatly not dubstep.
I'd sat it would be classed as... experimental? I cant really think of a genre to define this. Too much synth and no wobble bass, all the way through just a fading moog.
Im gonna give it a 7 =] Melody is too linear but apart from that it has good potential.
Yeah this has more of a bassline in notes the just one note played out a different wobble tempos.
I guess you could call it trance step i mean that main synth is very trance i did use to make alot of trance before hand so it kinda came along with me haha and this is my first track using gladiator so im just getting a hold of it.
Cheers for the review.
