Not too shabby

Overall i pretty decent track, but it dont have enough low end kick that would killl people in clubs :( also, i think it would of been cooler to side chain that sound at 2:08. Just saying :P

DreamEater responds:

Hey man thanks! honestly though, I'm pretty sure the kick isn't the issue with this song; If anything it's the bassline (low end EQ).

Thank you so much for your time and feedback though!

The fuck?

I like it, but what the fuck was it... i thought house, then video game, then dubstep... then dubstep video game!

TheShowGuy responds:

haha i love your reaction :D, idk i wanted to try to put them together it didnt worked but i tried :p

I like it

I had no idea what drumstep was until a guy dropped it at a festival i played... i like it

Decibel responds:

I like it too :3

thanks for the 10! :)

Awesome!

Thanks for this man!

BubblesZOMG responds:

you got it! let me know how the project works out, whether or not you use my samples! =)

Could still do with couple of touch ups

Make the build up longer and the transitions smoother... what program are you using? Some, if not all of the transitions seem too sudden. I Like the sound of a majority of it, but it sounds like more of a showcase of different tracks lol...

My favorite part is form 1:03 onwards, work on that part. If you need any help with anything just send me another message :)

I would recommend you pick one part of this track and make it individual... you could get atleast 5/6 tracks from this because different parts of it are so varied

Rathaloskid responds:

hmmm....well i'll see what i can do about those transitions

Good, but needs some hats

You need to add some hats... hardcore ain't just a distorted kick.

hehe... i hear some dblue glitch ;)

I always use Dblue in my loops! Just makes them sound so much more awesome!

ErgoEngan responds:

yeah i didn't even bother to reprogram the pattern for it because i had a massive headache and i just stopped caring eventually. So yeah, i used a template.

Well made

I don't know why this has a low score, people are nieve. I personally don't like it... but i can appreciate the production value... so thats why i've rated it full!

T3CHN0Fi3ND responds:

Well thank you! I'm not sure why they're getting low scores either. I'm pretty sure my songs are better than all the shit in the 2 section. Chilla Fox & Ocelots got a fucking 0.57 within an hour after being posted. I think I'm a troll-target or something.

But thank you for taking the time to review. I wouldn't mind low scores if people at least told me why. I can't get better without critique.

awesome, but too short

the best part is at the end and then it finishes!!! MAKE IT LONGER :D

Sounds like progressive house too, veeeery good

Rathaloskid responds:

Just for you i shall make it longer! I'll pm you when it is complete!

That is really not good at all

That sounds.... erm, not very good at all!

Was it made in FL? The synths are all cluttered, the beat has been drowned and the overall sound has not been polished.

One track should never take you less than 4 hours... even then only if you absolutly know what your doing and you have it all planned. I stick by a my own rule of not releasing a track if i don't think it's good enough, even if people don't like it they can still appreciate the polishing.

For whatever program you are using make sure you have mastered it before attempting to make a track... this could take ages, i use FL and have done for 3-4 years; i am still finding new ways to do and make things.

For whatever program you use, there will be tutorials on youtube.

Don't take this criticism harshly... we all have to start somewhere!

Free2Play responds:

Lol, I like your guess that it's from fruity loops cause it is. Also nice that you actually weighed in. Yeah I've only been making songs indefinitely for about a year learning different things as I go and having no knowledge of how to do any of it lol. I just like the prospect of making music without recording instruments cause I never have the skill to do exactly what I want with anything besides singing. I'm actually using a demo, so that's why I never work long amounts of time being busy usually and actually doing it during school or inbetween other things. It's more like an improve beat session for me lol. But I would love to learn more about how to clean things up and especially about mixing and fine tuning synths and stuff since all I use is 3X OSC which I just sort of tried out one day and found it simple enough to make. Though what did you actually think about the beat and stuff? That's the only real reason I've been doing it so far.
